Hi everyone,
I never imagined I’d be in this position, but today I’m asking for help—for someone who means the absolute world to me.
Last week, during what was supposed to be a fun, sunny walk, my golden retriever Loki suffered a painful injury. We were out enjoying the day when I noticed he started limping. At first, I thought he might’ve stepped on something sharp, but when we got home, I saw the bottom of his paw was red, raw, and blistering.
The vet confirmed that Loki had burned his paw pads on the hot sand, and the damage was worse than I feared. He’s been in pain, struggling to walk, and constantly licking the area. Watching him whimper and try to hobble around breaks my heart—I wish I could take the pain away myself.
Loki has always been more than a pet—he’s my best friend, my comfort when things get hard, my shadow on every walk. He brings joy to everyone he meets with his wagging tail and kind eyes.
The cost for his full treatment—burn care, pain medication, and follow-up vet visits—totals £750. I’ve already managed to save £250, but I’m still short, and the bills are coming in fast.
I’m asking for help to raise the remaining £500 so Loki can get the proper care he needs and deserves. Every single pound helps, and even if you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much for reading and for caring. Loki and I are both so grateful.
With love and hope,
Dan & Loki
