If you've had the chance to meet Loki, you know how special he is and how he doesn’t go anywhere without his ball. He's a healthy, happy dog with the most stubborn yet sweetest, goofy personality.
Unfortunately the most heart wrenching news, he has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma. In short it’s the worst painful bone cancer that could happen. Options are amputation, chemotherapy, radiation and the decision to be placed to sleep. With the information provided from his oncologist there is a program through Tufts veterinary medicine that will accept him and pay for surgery. Prior to being accepted he has to have screening of XRays,CTs, bloodwork submitted. This surgery isn't optional if we want to give him the quality of life he deserves, but the screening is a bit costly.
I am starting this GoFundMe to help cover the cost of Loki’s screening tests and get him in for surgery as soon as possible. Any contribution-big or small-will go directly toward getting him screening completed and getting him accepted into the program and scheduled for surgery as soon as possible and giving him comfort, stability, and the chance to keep being the joyful, loving dog we know.
If you're unable to donate, sharing this page means just as much. Thank you for supporting Loki and helping take care of someone who has given us so much love.
