Hi everyone, my cat Loki is a beloved member of our family and my best friend. He is a sweet, loving boy who has been by my side through everything. Recently, Loki suffered a life-threatening urinary blockage caused by crystals and severe inflammation. He had to be rushed to the emergency vet, where they placed a catheter and treated him to save his life. It was one of the scariest moments I’ve ever experienced. After evaluating him, the veterinarians told me that Loki definitely needs a Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery to prevent him from becoming blocked again. Without this surgery, there is a very high risk that this could happen again, and the next time could be fatal.

I am doing everything I can to help him, but the cost of his emergency care and the upcoming surgery is more than I can afford on my own. Loki is only 5 years old and still has so much life and love to give. He is playful, gentle, and deeply loved. I am asking for help so he can get the surgery he needs to live a healthy, pain free life.
