Hello! I’m desperately looking to rehome my foster dog Loki now that he has completed his heartworm treatment. When I first got Loki, it was his last day at PACC to be saved—he was going to be euthanized. I stepped in to foster him and got him through his treatment, making him more manageable and giving him a better chance of being adopted. Now he is cured and looking for his new forever home. His final follow-up appointment is this Sunday the 10th, and after that, I will only be able to keep him until the 10th. Otherwise, he will have to go back to the shelter, which I am desperately trying to avoid!

After getting to know this fellow for a little over a month, I can tell you he is a true companion. Loki loves to sit practically on your lap during car rides and never leaves your side at home—I call him my shadow! He truly is the sweetest dog and so smart. He’s very treat-motivated, loves a good walk, and will walk nicely with a muzzle. Loki is roughly 1.5-2 years old, a Siberian Husky, and extremely friendly to all people—children, elderly, everyone! He is house trained, kennel trained, and knows how to sit and lay down. Loki requires a no-other-pet household and must be the only pet in the home due to his reactive behavior. He doesn’t get along well with other dogs and acts aggressively playful, but if adopted, he will receive a free evaluation for training from PACC, as well as a muzzle for walks. Huskies are an energetic breed, so he’ll need either a tall retaining wall, yard leash, or to be monitored when outside.

I am looking for funds to support the success of Loki’s adoption and provide for his medication, nutrition, and training. It is greatly appreciated any help from the community towards the success and support of Loki. He has been through so much already, and it’s time for him to live his best life.
