We are deeply saddened and praying for our beloved family friend Loknath P,  On November 22nd, 2020, Loknath was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis on both of his thigh bone heads.  At first, he and his family did not know what to do since they do not have enough money to pay for treatment.  Therefore, they waited hoping that it will get better, but it turned for the worst.  Avascular Necrosis is a progressive disease in which the tissues and bones in his body slowly decay until they must be removed.  Once they finally saved up an adequate amount of money, they went to the hospital where he was diagnosed.  Unfortunately, the doctors said that he was already in stage 2 of the disease. Currently, Loknath is unable to walk and needs to undergo surgery as soon as possible.  If he does not undergo bone replacement surgery soon, he will permanently lose his legs. Unfortunately, Loknath’s parents are small farmers that are unable to afford their son’s treatment and are praying for any act of kindness, they really need our help, and the clock is ticking and time is running out for Loknath as each day passes.

Loknath is a bright 24-year-old man that has an amazing future ahead of him.  His education, a bachelor’s degree in Business, will allow him to provide for his parents in the future and possibly develop his small village.  His parents struggled greatly to give him a good education for him to live a prosperous life.  Many of the members from his village have high hopes for him but unfortunately, he was diagnosed with this severe condition.  It is saddening to see someone who many people depended on greatly perish due to an unexpected health problem. 

Loknath and his parents need assistance to pay for his bone replacement surgery.  They have very limited financial support in India, where they live, and the treatment there costs much more than they can afford.  Loknath’s parents are planning to sell their property and house in order to pay for the surgery.  In addition to his surgery, Loknath’s parents need leverage to boost them out of this tough time.  Due to traveling around back and forth to hospitals, his parents were not able to manage their farm.  Consequently, they are not financially stable. 

Our family would be incredibly thankful if you would help us to provide for this young man and his parents in the way that they deserve and attempt to soften the blow of his terrible condition.  All funds collected by our family will be sent directly to India to pay for Loknath’s medical expenses and his family’s well-being.
