Hi, my name is Tash. I am a friend of Lojine's currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. I am raising funds on behalf of Lojine and her family who are currently living through genocide in Gaza, Palestine.

The cover photo i have chosen for this fundraiser is of Lojine standing in the rubble of her destroyed home. She is a young woman, who was an agricultural engineer before the genocide began. She has a brother living with a disability who is not well and her parents to care for. They have been displaced multiple times, being forced to continually move their tents as the IDF continues its assault on the Palestinian people over the last 22 months.

Lojine hasn't slept through the night in this period because of the sound of the planes. Basic supplies such as vegetables, medical supplies and flour have become exorbitantly expensive as Israel continues its starvation blockade that limits food entering the region. These are her family's words:

"these are our homes, built with our own efforts and the toil of our lives. Then came war, violence and genocide, and everything was destroyed. Hope remains in our hearts and our conviction that the future is better. We will build our future with our determination and love, with the efforts of humanitarians and those who love life, and with the help of those who oppose barbarism and violence. We will grow, progress, and fight hatred."
