Help Lois and David After the Eaton Fire
My parents, Lois and David, lost their lifelong home in the devastating Eaton Fire that ravaged Altadena on January 8. This was the home where I was raised, and where my parents have lived for the last fifty years. Now, nearing 80 years old, they face the daunting task of starting over completely on a fixed income.
In the blink of an eye, fifty years of memories and treasured keepsakes are gone. The safety and security they built together have gone up in flames. Our whole town has been reduced to ashes. Thankfully, my parents made it out in time with the clothes on their back and their two beloved rescue dogs, Boo and Leika. All are safe and grateful.
My mom and dad have dedicated their lives to serving others as a healthcare worker and a special needs teacher in Los Angeles. They are not accustomed to asking for help. Your generosity will make a significant difference in helping my parents after such a devastating loss.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support.
