Help Logan's Journey to a Cancer-Free Life

March 23, 2025

Hello Family and Friends

Good news !!!!

Logan finally got accepted into M.D Anderson (in Texas) for the genetic clinical trial.
I am excited and terrified at the same time. He has been running this marathon (off again, on again) for 3 years and he is almost there.

This trial is his best chance at having a normal life. Basically the trial teaches his white blood cells to recognize the abnormal proteins on the cancer cells and attack them while leaving the non-cancer cells alone. He will be hospitalized for two weeks and then they will have to continue monitoring him for another month.

Diane and I will be traveling to Texas Thursday March 27 to be with Logan, because MD Anderson requires someone to be there for the duration of his treatment. I will be returning home and Diane will stay with Logan. Their return home will be determined on his well being; so all and all they will be in Texas for about 4-6 weeks.

We appreciate everyone’s continued support and all the heartfelt thoughts and prayers. The proceeds from the previous events (benefits and gofundme) have been put towards living expenses and travel between the research facilities (UofM, Northwestern University). There have been some setbacks and a lot of waiting for trials to open up, but he finally has a chance!

Thank you for all the help and we will keep you posted.
