Hi everyone,

My name is Sophie, and I’m reaching out to you on behalf of someone incredibly important to me, my longtime boyfriend and love of my life, Logan Woods.

Logan has devoted his life to the sport of MMA. Since 2013, he's trained, sacrificed, and fought his way up, chasing the single dream of becoming a UFC fighter. That dream came closer than ever when Logan was accepted onto the UFC Contender Series with Dana White last year in September of 2024. This was a culmination of over a decade of giving himself to this sport that has been the most constant thing in his life. We were so excited for where his hard work and natural talent had gotten him.

But just weeks before this life-changing moment, Logan suffered a serious eye injury with a complete retinal detachment for which he had emergency surgery. He made it through, but now he needs cataract surgery. Without it, he can't return to the sport he’s given everything for. He needs to be able to pass an eye exam to get back to the sport and he cannot be cleared if he doesn't have the cataracts fixed. Without it, his UFC dream could end before it even truly begins.

Logan has built himself up with grit, heart, and the unshakable belief that he was meant for more. It's been an honor to watch how MMA has given him purpose, discipline, and hope. He’s poured everything into this sport, not just physically, but emotionally and financially, to chase a dream many said was impossible.

I would be so thankful for any contribution towards his surgery and medical care. We are uninsured and don't make enough to pay the surgery amount in time.
