We’re raising funds for our amazing 3 year old boy Logan, who lives with quadriplegic cerebral palsy caused by a rare genetic multi-system disorder called Gould syndrome (COL4A1)  he also has epilepsy, is non verbal and fed through a peg. 

He is a bright, happy little boy with a big beautiful smile and an even bigger determination to explore the world around him. Every body that meets Logan comments on his beautiful smile and contagious laugh.

Because of his condition standing and building strength is a huge challenge. We have been researching ways to improve his quality of life and started Logan at private physio where we have been using a Galileo therapy machine. Which is used widely in America for over 25 years and can make a life-changing difference for him.

This specialist equipment helps children with cerebral palsy improve muscle strength, balance and coordination, bone density and supports them in learning to stand and move more independently.

Logan has spasticity which can cause his whole body to stiffen causing him pain and discomfort he takes medication daily for this, however using this machine on his very first session we noticed a huge difference in how loose his body was for days afterwards which is a huge relief for us as a family as we’re always looking for ways to make Logan more comfortable.

We have been advised that Logan would benefit greatly from having the machine at home to use on a daily basis.

Unfortunately the cost of the Galileo machine is £5000, which is more than we can manage alone, as well as the cost of ongoing private physiotherapy sessions.

Every donation big or small will go greatly towards giving Logan the chance to build strength, gain confidence and reach milestones that many of us take for granted.
