LIFE CHANGING STEM CELL TREATMENT FOR LOGAN
Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
It has taken us a great deal of strength to get to this point and it's not always easy to ask for help.
Our little boy, Logan was born with Cerebral Palsy, little did we know Logan had a disability, it was only at 5 months of age we discovered Logan was not meeting his milestones. Mum kept getting told by doctors and specialists that "you're a first-time mum, just give it time."
Logan spent his first birthday in hospital, as mum and dad wanted answers, where he was diagnosed with a very rare disorder "Paroxysmal Tonic Upgaze".
Logan was misdiagnosed and was then diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the aged of 1 and a half.
Logan is currently 3 and a half years old and is unable to walk independently, suffers from global developmental delay, speech delay, and is affected bilateral lower limbs.
Logans baby sister was born in August, where her umbilical cord blood was collected and has been stored for stem cell treatment on Logan. Stem cells repair damaged cells, can make copies of themselves, for different cell types, and influence the other cells around them. Evidence has shown the earlier stem cell treatment is received, the higher chance of better results for the individual.
We have been offered an amazing opportunity for Logan to receive cutting edge stem cell treatment. But there is a high cost to this treatment. We are kindly asking if you can help our son Logan.
Anything would be greatly appreciated.
