On the morning of May 22, 2026, our family's lives changed forever.
Our son, Logan, was riding home after breakfast when a vehicle pulled out in front of his motorcycle. He had no time to avoid the collision. Logan was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where doctors fought to save his life.
The injuries were catastrophic.
Logan suffered a severe spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple fractures throughout his body, punctured lungs, extensive facial injuries, and has endured numerous surgeries, including spinal stabilization, orthopedic repairs, and a tracheostomy. After weeks in intensive care, he was transferred to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, where he continues his long and difficult rehabilitation.
Just hours before the accident, Logan was an active young man preparing for college orientation, working at The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, and excited about the motorcycle he had proudly purchased the night before. In a single moment, everything changed.
Today, our family faces an uncertain future. Logan's recovery will require months—possibly years—of rehabilitation, specialized medical care, adaptive equipment, home modifications, and ongoing therapy. We still don't know the full extent of what his future will look like.
His mother, Lisa, is preparing for the possibility of leaving her teaching career to become Logan's full-time caregiver, while his father Chris continues working to support the family.

Your donations will first be used to cover Logan's immediate medical, travel, lodging, rehabilitation, and daily living expenses during this critical time. Any remaining funds will be placed into a trust dedicated to Logan's long-term care, helping provide for future medical needs, therapy, equipment, accessibility modifications, and the lifelong support he may require.
While our hearts have been broken, we have not lost hope.
We have witnessed incredible compassion from doctors, nurses, therapists, friends, family, and complete strangers. Most importantly, our faith continues to sustain us through each day. We believe God is walking with us through this journey, and we trust that He still has a purpose for Logan's life.
