Hello, I'm Jeremy Ashurst, Logan's stepdad.

Logan was the passenger in a terrible car accident early Sunday morning, August 3rd. He was life flighted from the scene and is currently in a Pittsburgh Trauma Burn Unit in critical condition. Logan faces a very long uphill battle as the injuries he suffered are significant. He has third-degree burns that cover 40% of his upper body. The doctors have referred to these as devastating injuries that will be life changing.

Anyone who knows Logan can tell you he’s a beautiful soul and a great person. Logan is always the first to help when someone is in need and the last to expect anything in return. Whether that’s giving a friend a ride, mowing someone’s grass, or buying somebody a meal, he’s a funny, energetic, big-hearted teddy bear who puts everyone ahead of himself. And we need that Logan back.

Logan’s mom Nichole, twin brother Dakota and I have been by his side during this tough time and will need to remain with him while he fights this battle. His recovery will be long and extensive and expenses will add up quickly. Doctors are telling us he will require multiple surgeries and rehabilitation. I am trying to raise funds to help Nichole and family pay for food, lodging, travel expenses and anything they would need while Logan is in the hospital and during rehabilitation.
