Logan, my rescued dog, has been consistently losing his hair all over his body, and he has now lost nearly 80% of it. I have spent thousands of dollars trying to find out what is wrong with him, but so far, we haven’t found any answers. We did two thyroid tests and both came back negative. I also did the Cushing’s Disease test, and it came back negative as well. Now, Logan has been referred to an internist specializing in internal medicine, but the bills are becoming a financial burden. Further testing is going to cost thousands of dollars, and I am struggling to keep up.

Logan’s story is heartbreaking. I rescued him when he was approximately three years old, and he suffers from trauma from abuse in Tijuana, Mexico. He had nearly no teeth when I rescued him, and his penis was also cut off. He started showing signs of losing hair when I adopted him, such as losing fur on his tail, but I adopted him anyway because he was such a loving dog. Logan has spent the last six years with me, in the company of a loving family, and all that matters to me is that he is happy.
