Hi my name is Morgan Cartwright and at just 22 years old, my brother, Logan Cartwright has worked incredibly hard to chase his dream of building a career in film & photography while studying at Uni in Melbourne.

Originally from regional Vic, Logan made the huge move to the city of Melbourne to pursue his passion. Like many students living away from home, the financial pressure has already been enormous, balancing Uni, rent, bills & everyday living costs while trying to build a future doing what he loves.

Over the years, Logan saved every dollar he could & worked tirelessly to purchase the camera equipment he needed for both his Uni work & paid creative jobs. His gear wasn’t just a hobby, it was his livelihood, his passion,& the tools he used to create opportunities for himself.

Sadly, that was all taken away in an instant…

While parked in Hawthorn Melbourne, Logan’s car was broken into & his entire camera bag was stolen. Inside were two high-end cameras, multiple professional lenses, microphones, a DJI drone, a DJI gimbal, and other essential filmmaking equipment worth many thousands of dollars.

To most people, these are expensive items.

To Logan, they were years of sacrifice, hard work, late nights, and determination.

As a Uni student already struggling with the high costs of living in Melbourne, replacing this equipment feels almost impossible. Without it, Logan cannot continue many of his Uni projects or the freelance work he relies on to support himself.

We know times are tough for everyone, but we are asking if anyone is able to help in any way, no matter how small, it would mean the world to Logan and help him get back on his feet doing what he loves❤️

It is such an amazing feeling to see a sibling thrive and create such amazing masterpieces whilst also loving what they do and for a feeling like that to be taken away is really hard to grasp. I would do anything for him but unfortunately finding the gear is something I cannot do…

Every single dollar donated will go directly towards replacing the stolen equipment so Logan can continue his studies, keep working, & continue pursuing his dream career.

If you can’t donate, sharing this page would also mean so much to our family. It’s just not about the donation, any money given is evidence that even though to us at present the world feels a little broken, there is people who want to support and with that comes hope there is good out there.

Thank you for taking the time to read Logan’s story & for supporting a young person trying to build a future through hard work and passion.
