Logan is 28, was born with spina bifida, and has endured 43 surgeries. Despite daily challenges that most of us can’t imagine, he lives with joy, faith, and determination. His favorite verse, John 9:1–3, reminds him that his life is meant to reflect God’s work.

He graduated from Ball State, worked at Disney, and now serves full-time as an HR assistant at Evergreen Senior Living while pouring his heart into ministry at New Life Chapel. Logan chooses to work and live independently—he doesn’t want to rely on the system; he wants to live with purpose.

Asking for help isn’t in his nature. When we spoke about this fundraiser, his response was simply, “But it could be worse.” That’s who he is—humble, grateful, and always thinking of others.

Right now, Logan’s biggest challenge is transportation. His 2014 Chevy Cruze is no longer reliable, and transferring in and out of the car with his wheelchair is physically exhausting—especially in rain or extreme temperatures. To continue working, serving, and living independently, he needs a vehicle that can safely accommodate him and his wheelchair, ideally with a lift and hand controls. Accessible modifications alone cost $20,000–$25,000 on top of a base vehicle, far beyond what Logan can afford. Unfortunately, insurance does not help with any of this. We have helped him with student loans to make his budget easier and some of his monthly expenses, but it is still not enough.

We’re stepping out in faith on his behalf. Every contribution will go directly toward safe, reliable, accessible transportation—helping Logan continue to work, serve, and live the life God has called him to. Anything above will be used to make future living environments accessible for Logan.
