Help Lochlan Rebuild After Tragic Accident

15 year old Lochlan was hit by a drunk driver in Rio/Jensen Beach while riding his Ebike on the way to the local gas station for ice cream. Due to the impact of the collision, Lochlan ended up breaking the back passenger window with his face and was rendered unconscious. The driver of the vehicle proceeded to drag his unconscious and bloodied body to the side of the road near a ditch, and then took off.

Thankfully a good samaritan heard the crash and rendered care to Lochlan. He was air lifted to St. Mary's and we are incredibly grateful that he did not sustain any serious internal injuries. Lots of stitches, staples, bruises, abrasions and a couple broken bones.

The reason for this campaign: Our lawyer discovered that the man that hit my son does not have adequate insurance. We were hoping that Lochlan would be compensated enough to at least buy a new Ebike, but no. Lochlan had worked weekends at the Ocean Breeze Publix for over a year to buy this dream bike. And now it's gone. All that hard work and it is destroyed. Not to mention that one of his Apple Airpods ended up in the back seat of the drunk drivers car, which is how we tracked down the perpetrator, and he will never get it back. He also worked hard and saved for those too.

I would love to surprise him with a new bike. He LOVED that bike like most love their first car. Any donation would help immensely.

I am EXTREMELY grateful that Lochlan is alive and well today. It could of been so much worst.
