Help local shop owner, after 3 armed robberies

This was lifted straight from the Facebook post that bought this to the communities attention:
Earlier today his evening I went into the newsagents on Ashby road. The shelves were pretty bare, i was quite shocked and mentioned that I assumed they were waiting for a delivery? However the cashier explained that due to being robbed by armed robbers 3 x in the last year they had fallen on hard times he explained that the insurance company had only paid out so much and with having no stock he was not making the money to refill the shelves so it was a vicious circle. It’s so sad to see a family and a local business really struggling, the insurance has gone up and bills are piling in, they no longer sell cigarettes as they don’t want to attract thieves!! He is trying his best to keep afloat, honestly my heart went out to him. As a community surely we can help in some way?? Ideas welcome because I cannot leave this alone (and hoping Hinckley as a community will agree) without trying to help in some way.

The best way to help without it costing you (on top of your weekly shop) is to go to the shop next time you need a loaf or a pint of milk and buy from there.
