Help Local Photographer Elly Rebuild After Car Accident

Hi Everyone,

Our wonderful community photographer, Elly DeMontigny, was in a serious car accident on October 1st. She was on her way to dog park with her service dog Todd, and was T-boned on the driver’s side. Elly was fortunate to not have any permanent injuries, but was discharged from the hospital with massive bruising throughout the left side of her body and limited mobility for some time. Thankfully Todd was unharmed, ran home from the scene, and alerted her husband that something happened to her mom. He followed Todd to where he found the car wrapped around the front of a work van.

Elly had over $1k of camera equipment in the car which was crushed on impact. You guys know we take that stuff everywhere. Never know when inspiration will strike. Her medical bills will be substantial, and her car is completely totaled. Photography is what puts food on the table, and it would be really wonderful to help her since she's going to be out of commission for at least a few weeks.

She’s the definition of generous. She donates photography services to friends, rescues, and people in need. On top of this, she works hard to help her community in so many ways completely unrelated to photography, and I think it would be wonderful to give her the slightest peace of mind that she can bounce back from losing so much. If you can donate anything at all, I know it would mean the world to her.
