About a year ago, on her birthday, Mars' cat began bleeding out on the bed. He was rushed to the closest hospital by her family, and they were charged $10,000 for his Kidney Stone removal.
Unfortunately, these bills have taken a toll on Mars and her financial ability to keep organizing. Although her passion lies in activism, she has been too ashamed to ask her community for help. She is now at risk of being unhoused because of these bills, and the fact that she has missed work to attend/organize so many events these past few months.
As a birthday gift to Mars, we are hoping to pay off her bills so she has one less thing holding her back. Please consider sharing this to help us meet our goal.
