Ramadan is a month of mercy, reflection, and community. Every evening in Makkah and Madinah, thousands of people gather to break their fast together. Among them are travellers, workers far from home, students, and those who may not have the means to provide a proper meal for themselves. My name is Emal, and this Ramadan I want to help raise funds to provide Iftar meals in Makkah and Madinah. With the help of a few friends, I will be personally distributing the meals to those who are fasting, ensuring that people have something to break their fast with at Maghrib. For many, this meal is more than just food. It is comfort, relief, and a reminder that the Muslim community looks after one another. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that whoever provides Iftar for a fasting person will receive the same reward as the one who fasted. This is a beautiful opportunity for all of us to share in that reward.
