Help local mom get back on the road after an accident!!
Sunday morning during the snowstorm, a local single mother of three faced a heartbreaking ordeal. While driving into Mineral Wells at the curve in front of the post office, Ashley's car slid on the ice and slammed hard into the ditch on the opposite side of the road.
Climbing out of her car into the biting cold, Ashley realized her worst fear: her only vehicle, the lifeline for her family, could be really damaged. Amidst the chaos, two kind strangers appeared—true angels in her words. They wrapped her in a warm jacket, offered comforting hugs, and even called tow companies on her behalf. Before leaving, they handed Ashley money to help cover the cost of the tow, saying,"This is from God. He loves you, and so do we."
At that moment, Ashley felt the love from those strangers, and it was the only comfort she had. She faced the harsh reality after the car was pulled from the ditch that the front driver’s wheel was snapped, the steering column destroyed, and her car was deemed beyond saving. One of the kind strangers drove Ashley a short distance away to her home, reassuring her again,"God loves you." She had no choice but to hold onto those words, praying they would somehow be true. That God would show up for her.
For those who don’t know Ashley, let me tell you about her. I’ve had the privilege of watching Ashley and her family over the years, and I can confidently say she’s one of the most kind, authentic, and loving humans you could ever meet. Having no family at all besides her children I have watched this woman hold everything together. It’s my wish her story not only reaches far and wide but also that our community can come together even if just one share at a time to show her how BIG GOD is and remind her that miracles happen. She needs a reliable vehicle—not just for herself, but for her kids and everything they depend on her for.
Let’s as a community lift Ashley up in her time of need. Donations will go directly toward purchasing a dependable vehicle, all related costs, and to help her rebuild the stability her family relies on.
Alternatively, I am somewhat aware also of a car gifting organization I believe Ashley and her family to be affiliated with. They would love to gift her a vehicle however, one must first be donated to the organization first.
Ashley has joyfully spent her life pouring loveinto the world around her. Let’s show her that love comes back tenfold when you need it most.
Please consider donating AND/OR sharing this campaign. Let’s show Ashley that she’s not alone.
