As most of us who grew up in Dunedin know - if you ever went to McDonalds late night you were greeted by a fantastic, friendly, sweet woman by the nickname of “Stretch”.

Stretch is an absolute local legend who most of us have ‘known’ in some capacity for over 20 years!

Sadly she was hit by a car this morning - and from the information currently provided is still in the hospital and has had surgery. We all know medical bills can be insane. I’m starting this GoFundMe for those who wish to contribute and help support Stretch in any way that we can.

I will be reaching out and provide updates as soon as I can!

Update: As of 12/2/2025, I have contacted GoFundMe support and the funds will be managed for Linda (aka Stretch) by Karl, her nephew. Thank you all so much for all of your support and donations!
