Help Local Gather Get a Sign

Hi! We are Acacia and Madeline, proud owners of Local Gather, a collective boutique and creative workspace in Mesa, Arizona.

We opened in April 2023 with the goal of holding space for local makers and the community to find connection and inspiration. Everything we do stems from our core values of community, connection, and wellness. We hold a space that is deliberately inclusive. Our boutique is a collection of 40 local small businesses with an intentional creative workshop space for small business owners to share their craft directly with the community.

Our shop has been carefully curated, but one very important thing is still missing.

We are coming to you today asking for help to achieve our goal of having a

prominent, overhead sign for outside the front of our shop. For those of you that have visited us, you know this is currently the biggest opportunity for improvement (trust us, we hear you). We want this space to be easy to access and right now, it’s hard to find. We know this can be frustrating to both the community and to small business owners looking for our space. However, overhead signs are a huge investment and we need your help.

A distinctive sign will enhance our visibility in the community and serve as a reminder of local connection. We have a preliminary go-ahead from the City of Mesa to design a wooden sign verses a neon acrylic sign. This will help to cut costs AND is aligned with Local Gather’s aesthetic and values. Win, win!

Your donation will contribute to the acquisition of the sign (design, engineering plan, city permits, and installation) and to ensure Local Gather’s mission to bring connection within the community is easy to find and accessible to all. Any amount you can contribute will make a meaningful impact and help us continue to grow and elevate local small businesses. Beyond the investment of an overhead sign, we are committed to being intentional with every donation to enhance Local Gather to continue our mission of cultivating community with our remaining start-up costs.
