Help local farmer Gary beat cancer
Donation protected
In March of 2018, Gary Patterson, my father, had multiple moles biopsied and they came back as one being Melanoma and one being Basal Cell Carcinoma. He had a PET scan done to see if it had spread and it was showing spots on his left tonsil and lymph nodes. He then had surgery to remove his left tonsil and have it biopsied. Well it metastasized to his Lymph Nodes. So he is now struggling with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in his Lymph Nodes. He had decided at that time to proceed with natural alternatives. He didn't want chemo, radiation, or anymore surgery.
His late brother went through the same situation unfortunately. Started out as Melanoma and it then spread to his lymph nodes. He went ahead with surgery to remove the infected lymph nodes and after words it took over his body and he lost his battle with cancer. My dad is scared of this same thing happening with him. But it is to the point now to where something has to be done. The lymph nodes in his neck are extremely swollen and it is starting to get harder to swallow. So he has chosen to pursue an Immunotherapy treatment at the Immunotherapy Therapy Center.
My dad has been the hardest working man I know. He would take his shirt off his back for anyone in need and has never asked for anything in return. He is my biggest role model and has always been my biggest fan...My dad has always been there for our family and now it is our turn to be there for him.
So I am reaching out to our family and friends for assistance in what we know will be an expensive road ahead, as to where insurance will not cover this treatment. He does not like expressing his feelings or asking for help, as does any man. He recently retired and has not been able to work due to his health. The last thing we want our dad to worry about is finances during a time when his focus should be on healing and rebounding. Let's rally around him and make sure he knows that he has a Family and Community that is by his side every step of the way.
Thank you for whatever help you can give!
