This year, Borough Beards is dedicating our No Shave November fundraiser to support a family from Bergen County who is facing unimaginable challenges. Their 8-year-old son is suffering from a rare disease and is currently receiving palliative care. To add to their hardship, the mother, just 46 years old, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer with metastatic upper abdominal adenopathy.
The weight of these health battles is overwhelming, and the family is going through a very difficult time. In their desire for privacy, they have asked to remain anonymous, but their need for community support is immense.
We invite you to participate in this fundraiser to help ease their burden. Every dollar raised will go directly to this family, providing them with financial relief and allowing them to focus on what truly matters—each other.
Let’s come together, grow out those beards, and show that our community cares.
