On December 19th, Luis Chavez, a beloved local self-employed barber, was severely injured as a passenger in a car accident. In a single moment, his life and livelihood was changed drastically.
Luis suffered multiple serious injuries, including a fractured sternum, fractures to both hips, a broken finger, and significant knee injuries: a sprained ACL, fully torn PCL, and partially torn MCL. As a result, his recovery will require ongoing medical care and physical therapy.
As a self-employed barber, Luis depends entirely on his ability to stand, move, and work with his hands. He is currently unable to work due to the injuries that he has sustained.
We are looking to provide him with financial aid until he is able to return to work.
Funds raised will help cover:
- Medical bills and rehabilitation
- Physical therapy and follow-up care
- Living expenses
Any amount truly helps, and if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page means just as much. Thank you for supporting Luis during this difficult time.
