Help Lobna & her parents as refugees in Egypt

ABOUT LOBNA:

Hello, I am Lobna Esmail. I live in Rafah with my mother and father. My mother suffers from pulmonary fibrosis, diabetes and anemia. She needs treatment, health care and medicine, and there is no health care provider in Gaza. Her condition has worsened after our neighbor's house was bombed because the air is full of smog and smoke. I am very worried for her. I want to leave Gaza with my mother and father to receive treatment for my mother. But no one can travel or leave Gaza without coordination. The travel coordination cost for just one single Palestinian passport is USD$5,000 to leave Gaza.

DETAILS OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH YOUR MONEY:

The funds will be used for the following purposes:

1. To evacuate family members of the Esmail family from Gaza to Egypt.

The names of these 3 family members are as follows: Lobna Esmail, Adla AlNahal (her mother), and Esmail AlNahal (her father)

2.. Help the family have a place to stay and food to eat upon evacuation to Egypt

3. Transportation from the border into Cairo

We are currently seeking to raise USD$10,000 (CAD$13,562) to cover evacuation costs. Both Lobna and her father have Egyptian and Palestinian passports, but her mother only has a Palestinian passport. The cost for evacuating with an Egyptian passport ranges from $750 - $1000, while for a Palestinian passport it is currently $5,000. In order to cover these costs, as well as basic needs for a short while once they arrive in Egypt, we are asking for your help!

ABOUT THE COORDINATOR OF FUNDS:

Hi, my name is Munema Moiz. I am from Canada and I am helping to raise funds for Lobna and her family to evacuate Gaza, where they are living dire straits and at risk of their lives. In addition, Lobna's family needs urgent healthcare. Unfortunately the cost of leaving Gaza is very high and she requires financial assistance to leave.

Lobna is a blogger based in Rafah. She has recently reached out to me for help to collect funds so that she can leave with her parents, both of whom suffer from physical ailments.

I will be collecting the funds over here, and then transferring to a friend of Lobna's who is based in Jordan. The friend will then transfer it to another friend of Lobna's through Zain Cash (a money transfer app in Jordan), and Lobna will be able to obtain the money from them.

SUMMARY

Please help us to raise these funds and get Lobna and her parents to safety in Egypt and to access healthcare for Lobna's mother.
