Hello,

My name is Jordan, and I am currently a PhD student in immunology at UC Davis. I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my beloved cat, Loaf. Recently, I discovered a mass on Loaf’s leg. After a visit to the vet, we learned that it is melanoma, a type of skin cancer that requires immediate surgery for the best chance of survival. The vet will only be able to determine the aggressiveness of the cancer once the mass is removed and tested.

As a grad student, I am juggling academic responsibilities and personal expenses, making it incredibly difficult to cover the cost of this urgent surgery on my own. Despite my best efforts, I find myself in a position where I need to ask for help. Loaf is a sweet and loving companion who deserves the best chance at overcoming this challenge.
