My dad, Lloyd Wagner has sadly suffered 2 strokes within a couple of weeks. The first was a minor stroke, the second one was a severe brain stroke. Because of the severe stroke, which left him unable to talk or move. The hospital that would give the care my dad needed was in Thailand over 50 miles away from where he was living in Laos.  The MRT showed bleeding in the brain, and he had to have immediate surgery. The doctors said he has a 50/50 chance. My dad, Lloyd the fighter he is, made it through the surgery and was in a coma. We weren't sure how long he would be in the coma. Within 24 hours after the surgery, he awakened and is now talking and understanding others. What a miracle! I'm so thankful for all the prayers & thoughts from family & friends. It has been hard on the family, not being able to be there physically for my dad. As we all know, medical expenses can quickly become overwhelming. We are required to pay for half of the total of his hospital expenses right now. My dads medicare insurance does not apply outside of the U.S., therefore we are initiating this fundraiser to assist with his healthcare costs and ease some of the financial burdens he's facing.
