Early on Tuesday morning, May 20, Brian woke to crackling and popping sounds in the house, followed quickly by fire alarms going off and the smell of smoke. He hurried to tell Lloyd, and together they ran out of the house. The fire company arrived before long, and while they did extinguish the fire, it had damaged the house beyond repair. Though the house is lost, there is much to be thankful for. The fire was raging right below Brian's bedroom, but thankfully he woke up and was able to evacuate before his room collapsed into the fire. While Brian's car was reduced to scrap metal, Beth was out of town that night, so Lloyd and Beth did not lose their vehicle. Many people have volunteered time, food, and prayers during the cleanup process. This platform gives you an opportunity to bless them with financial aid. There was little in the house that could be salvaged, so while a new house is obviously the priority, there will be a lot of supplies needed to truly make it a home.
