Help LJ Overcome Blindness with Love
Donation protected
My name is Nicole, and I’d like to share the story of my sweet boy, LJ.
LJ came into my life during one of the hardest moments I’ve ever faced. My beloved dog had just been killed, and soon after, I found LJ, a stray who desperately needed someone to love him. It felt like fate brought him to me, and from that day forward, he’s been a loyal and loving part of our family.
But life hasn’t been easy for LJ. Being on the streets left him with many health struggles:
• He has a broken tail and skin patches that tell the story of neglect.
• He suffers from throat problems.
• He has no teeth, making it difficult for him to eat like other dogs.
• Worst of all, he is going blind. He already lost sight in one eye, and now the cataracts are spreading to the other.
Despite all of this, LJ’s spirit has never been broken. He’s a scrappy little fighter, full of love and resilience. He greets us every day with joy, reminding me how much he deserves the chance to live his best life.
Right now, LJ’s biggest challenge is his cataracts. Without surgery, he will soon lose his vision completely. The cost of cataract surgery for dogs is very high, and I simply cannot cover it alone. That’s why I am reaching out for help.
✨ What Your Support Will Do
Every dollar donated will go directly toward:
• Pre-op tests: $500–$800
• Surgery: $3,500–$5,600 (per eye, depending)
• Post-op meds & follow-up: $300–$600
Giving LJ his sight back would change his world. He would be able to enjoy the simple things again, running, playing, exploring, and living out his years with dignity and comfort.
LJ has survived so much already. He’s a tough little guy who never gave up, and I don’t want him to lose the joy of seeing the world he’s fought so hard to be a part of.
If you can, please donate to help LJ get the surgery he needs. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page with others means the world too.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for caring about my boy.
With gratitude,
Nicole & LJ
