Help Lizzy in her time of need

Donation protected
Lizzy has been a good friend of mine for 24 years.  She's loyal and true to all she calls friend and goes out of her way to help people in times of need.   I've seen her do it again and again.  Now she needs help so I'm advocating for her.  Because the fact is that while she's a strong, tenacious, willful fighter, fate has recently struck her a hard blow.
She and her kids, Angus and Matilda, are no strangers to rugged times: divorce, legal battles, an abrupt uprooting from the opposite side of the planet to Vermont.  Tough stuff for children and equally tough for their mother.  But she pulled herself up by her bootstraps and taught herself skills.  The kind of skills involving chainsaws and power tools that fleshed out a successful business: Green Mountain Girl Landscaping.
However, the family has had a recent tragedy:  The children's father and a person loved by Lizzy tragically died at sea--in front of them all.  Chris meant so much to the entire family.  It's very clear how cherished he was to them all.  They all struggle with remembrance, with loss, and with the unfairness of it all.  They are in the midst of an often tumultuous healing process.  The grieving goes on, but unfortunately, the economics have come down to bear.  Chris's financial support as well as his general help with all aspects of family life... is gone.
Since that horrible day on December 5th, the family has incurred expenses related to death, travel, and legal expenses.  These have pretty much run the savings dry at a time that is her off-season.  She's had little to no contracting work for 9 weeks and her busy season starts mid-April.  The months ahead will be very hard.
Lizzy really needs some assistance to make sure her children do not go without.  She needs to make sure her mortgage, car payments and other bills are paid on time.  She needs to put food on the table and ensure the well-being of her children.  All financial contributions will go to these vital expenses.
So please, if you can find it in your heart to lend some support, any and all help is so appreciated.  You can help by graciously donating to this gofundme, but whether you can or cannot, please share this in your Facebook timeline, your Twitter, or in any other way you can think of.  Lizzy is a self-sustaining person but just needs to get through this rough patch.  She needs your support.
It means so much to me... and to her... and to them... if you could help a little.  No amount would be unappreciated.  Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and please at least share the link.  It would not take much of your time and would mean the world.
