Lizzy is my sweet 9-year-old dog, and she’s truly the heart of our family. Just a couple of days ago, I noticed a small lump on her belly. At first, I hoped it was nothing serious, but the next day it had grown to the size of a golf ball. We rushed her to the vet, and our worst fears were confirmed: it’s a tumor that needs to be removed as soon as possible. Thankfully, the cancer hasn’t spread yet, so surgery can give her the best chance at a healthy life.
This year has already been incredibly hard for us. I lost one pup to lymphoma, and another was hit by a car. On top of that, I’m not able to work my high paying job anymore because of a brain injury. Lizzy is the most important part of my life, and I can’t imagine losing her too. The funds raised will go directly to her surgery and any care she needs to recover and get back to her happy, loving self.
Me and my family would be so grateful to you for helping us. Lizzy means the world to many people, and your support—whether it’s a donation or sharing our story—would mean everything to us. Thank you for caring about Lizzy and for being part of our journey to help her heal.
