Hi all - we are starting this fundraiser in the hopes of getting Lizzy the operation she needs to help fix her hip dysplasia.
Lizzy came to the shelter last year and we could see she had a limp. She was x-rayed and it was discovered she has quite bad hip dysplasia which is meaning she has a bad limp as well as osteoarthritis on the left side.
This is the sort of condition no adopter would want to take on themselves simply due to the cost, which means Lizzy is going to spend forever in the shelter.
We really want to give her a chance at a real life, so want to propose we get her surgery done in Greece, so she can then find her forever home. She is only three years old and has so much life left to live.
