Help Lizzie get to Kenya

Hello, my name is Lizzie, I am fourteen years’ old. Through school I have been given the exciting opportunity to travel to Kenya with fellow students and Camps International for four weeks in July 2025.

Camps International aims to stop inequalities, reduce poverty, and protect the planet. So, during this trip I will be involved in undertaking voluntary work to support local communities such assisting in building schools and medical facilities, helping to supply clean water and sanitation, as well as protecting cattle by administering medication.

By staying in the heart of the community I will have the chance to build relationships with local people, learning about their culture, food, and language, as well as experiencing first hand some of the challenges faced by children who don’t have the privileges that I have growing up in the UK.

Since I was a little girl, I have always had a strong desire to help other people and to make the world a better place. Although I will gain so much from this trip of a lifetime, the most important thing to me is that I can make the lives of the people I meet healthier and safer.

However, to be able to participate I need to raise £4330. With the help of my family, I have a few fundraising activities planned, but I wondered if there was anyway you would be able to help me by donating towards my target. I know it is a lot to ask but it would mean the world to me, not to mention the people I am hoping to help.
