Help Lizzi Link Overcome Her Health Crisis

Hi, My name is Lauren and I am fundraising for Lizzi Link. She had ongoing back issues which led to a back surgery on April 12, 2024. She had screws put in and some vertebrae fused together. She was doing well after surgery. During her 2nd physical therapy session, she was directed to do wall squats which resulted in the spine fusion breaking along with fractures in her lower back. She was taken by ambulance back to the hospital. The surgeon went back in to repair the breaks. This time resulting in a very large incision.

While in rehab, Lizzi was not doing well. She was taken back to the hospital where she was told she had a MRSA infection. Another surgery was needed to clean out the incision. She was admitted and went through rounds of antibiotics to get the infection under control.

Lizzi is now at home, is struggling with mobility and is not able to work for the time being.
