Help Lizette Fight Renal Failure: "A second chance at life"
Donation protected
Lizzy, a 61-year-old with a heart of gold, has always been the first to help others. She is loved by many in her circles she associates with, and now, she needs our help.
Diagnosed with Stage 5 Renal Failure, she faces dialysis if she is to survive, and overwhelming medical costs. In the last 18 months, Lizette's health had declined to the point where she was unable to work at her prior job that was very demanding. While she is actively seeking part-time employment, she has also started the process of applying for disability benefits so that she can support herself. She’s struggling to cover basic living expenses and life-saving treatments. Lizette has used all of her life savings to pay her bills over the last year and she now needs our help.
Approval for Social Security could be up to 1 year. While facing the start of dialysis , Lizette is also in the process of being evaluated for a kidney transplant. She is facing thousands of dollars in hospital bills, medication copays, visits to specialists and lab costs. She needs money to help cover cost of basic living in addition to the costs of accessing medical care. Immunosuppressant medications can typically range from $20,600 to $32,900 per year and even with insurance, co-pays can be unaffordable. Her course to transplant will be complicated and expensive. Transplantation can be an overwhelming situation, and patients are encouraged to plan ahead for some of the uncovered and unforeseeable costs.
Please consider donating what you can and sharing this with your circle for our girl.
