Help Lizanne's Family Rebuild After Fire

This is my sister Lizanne’s house and the “elderly woman” mentioned on the news who had just left the home was my mom. My niece Larissa and her 5-year-old son lived there too. Thankfully, everyone was out of the house when windows exploded and the house was engulfed in a fireball. Nothing inside was saved.

There were four generations in that house and they literally lost everything except what they were wearing when they left that morning. They need clothing, shoes, jackets, boots, all kitchen items and appliances, bedroom items like beds, sheets, bureaus, living room furniture, toys for 5-year-old James, and electronics like computers and laptops. In other words, they need EVERYTHING.

GoFundMe and gift cards are the best. They dont have space or time for adult clothes and furniture right now. James is 5 years old so size 5/6 would be great. And toys.

Sowing Seeds is taking in donation but if any businesses can set up a space for donations please let me know.

This was the home my nephew and niece grew up in and my sister has called it home for almost 40 years. My mom is confused and doesn't remember from hour to hour and then has to be reminded.

I know it is “just things” and it could have killed my family if it had happened earlier, but it is still sad for all of them and they need everything to start life over.
