Help Liza Battle Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Hello friends and family,
We are reaching out to you through social media with a heavy heart to share the challenging journey our mom has undergone over the past two years. On June 4th, 2023, our mother was urgently admitted to the ER, and on June 10th, she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer which had unfortunately metastasized to her liver.
Our mother immediately began receiving chemotherapy treatments. Once her cancer cell count decreased to an appropriate level for surgery, she underwent a total hysterectomy procedure along with the cauterization of her liver and colon. Despite her successful surgery, our mother’s cancer cell count and abdominal pain continued to rise, eventually revealing growing mets in her liver. She continued receiving various regimens of chemotherapy over the past year. However, as of recently, her body has stopped responding well to chemo medications and she has decided to discontinue chemotherapy.
The financial burden of extensive medical treatments, ongoing care, and unforeseen expenses have unfortunately become overwhelming for our family.
We understand this is a difficult financial season for many families. So we are reaching out to our community to please join us in praying for our mom. We are praying for a miracle from the Lord that she would be responsive to treatments and cancer free for good. Through the difficulties of this season, the Lord has shown his faithfulness more and more in every victory my mom has had against cancer. But this battle is not yet finished.
If you feel in your heart the desire to contribute to our mom’s cause, please know how greatly appreciated it would be from our family. There would not be enough words to express our gratitude. Any contribution amount would directly go towards our moms treatment, copays, and hospital stays.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your kindness and support bring hope to our family during this difficult journey.
God bless,
The Abadilla Family
We wait for the Lord; he is our help and shield. For our hearts rejoice in him because we trust in his holy name. May your faithful love rest on us, Lord, for we put our hope in you.
