**UPDATE: GOOD NEWS!!**
JUSTIN AND I ARE SIGNING OUR RENT AGREEMENT NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My new apartment is in Biddeford and we sign our paperwork and get the keys on June 27th! However, $2,660 is due at that time to cover first month’s rent + security deposit, but I don't get my government benefits until the end of the month. Any help you can offer in getting us finally settled into a place we can legally call home would be a huge blessing!!

For those of you who don't know, my housing situation has been really shitty for most of my life. I grew up with a go bag because my mom is unmedicated for bipolar disorder and kicked me out constantly and then would gas light me about it after. She's used the threat of eviction for most of my life to control me.
My aunt bought the house I grew up in and have been living in in Wells since May 2020 and is turning it into a summer rental again. I've been frantically searching for places to live for about a year, and the stress has been something I've carried and accumulated enough that I couldn't get out of bed.
I'm also permanently disabled because of a degenerative illness that I really don't like talking about. I've been using my wheelchair about half the time I leave my house. Our new digs are wheelchair acessable and on the bottom floor near accessable parking. This is wonderful news for me!
I'm losing the only good home I've ever known in exchange for legally protected but limited opportunities in Biddeford. It's a complicated but good feeling. But I feel safe knowing that you folks have had my back for so many different reasons over the years. I know this transition will be scary, but having really good friends like y'all has given me the emotional support I need to feel like we can frickin' do this ❤️
