On Wednesday night, a huge fire broke out on in a supermarket in Bushwick that quickly spread out to the buildings surrounding. Our friend's Liz & Jesse's apartment's roof has caved in covering 11 years worth of household and memorabilia is soot, debris and soaking every inch of their place. Their apartment is lost and Liz, Jesse and their 3 pets are staying at a friend's apartment along with 2 of their neighbors and their dog and cat.

They need help getting on their feet in every sense possible, starting with some immediate costs that are quickly accumulating as they are trying to salvage their belongings, renting temporary storage units and having to sustain their temporary existence outside of a home.

We love you guys and this community so much. The people of the neighborhood that have already shown up in so many countless ways have truly made this catastrophe bearable. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all the generosity coming this way, whether it's been a home cooked meal, donating 4$ for a hot cup of coffee or any other funds that you can spare.
