Hi my loves!

It's your gal, Liz. I am officially 25 and in celebration of this quarter century birthday I would love to fundraise

for mental health foundations! (And maybe shave my head too if we can hit our goal hahahahaha!)

My aim is to fund raise $10,000 and divide and donate to a couple of foundations (I will share receipts!!!)

I struggled with my mental health when I was battling with severe cystic acne at a young age, and was in a very dark period of my life. Having experienced bullying in high school, I felt really alone when the truth is, we're never alone in our struggles. Seeking for help is still so stigmatised and I hope fundraising will make changes!! I hope it will help foundations help them develop information, tools that will help people look after their mental health. I hope it can help influence policymakers and advocates change whether it be in a school, office or just everyday life. I hope together we can save lives!

When and if we reach $10,000 I will be shaving my head and upload it on Youtube/Instagram/Facebook you name it!!!!

Going bald was always something I wanted to do for myself; free myself from what society has so intrinsically attached to womanhood and femininity. We’ve been conditioned to tie our identity to our outward appearance and its a huge reason why I struggled with my confidence when I was younger. I’m hoping by shaving my head, I can inspire you to realise that you are SO much more than your outward appearance.

Having started my @prettyprogress23 skin positivity blog, my life has completely changed in ways I am so grateful for. I have grown so much and connected with so many people across the world. From sharing my journey, to making funny and informative content to recommending my favourite skincare and makeup brands, I have really found my purpose and that is to help others in any way I can!

(If we don’t reach $10,000 all proceeds will still go to mental health foundations!!! The only difference would be that I will still have a head full of hair hahahaha)
