Help Liz Heal: Support Her Recovery from Hip Surgery

Those who know Liz, know how long she has put off taking care of her hip. Being a self-employed, single mom with a busy schedule has made prioritizing her own health such an overwhelming challenge that for the past few years, smiling through the pain became her new normal.

Liz is scheduled to receive a new hip in November, and standard recovery time is around 8 weeks. We are aiming to raise enough money to enable her to stay home without having to worry about ongoing bills in addition to the cost of surgery.

We are so proud of Liz for finally putting her health first, and taking the necessary steps to heal her hip, so she can return to a pain-free life.

Liz has been living with chronic pain caused by a degenerative condition that affects her hip for a number of years. The physical nature of her work as a hairstylist, and lack of easy access to healthcare have exacerbated the situation.
