Help Liz fight for Greyson

My name is Nikole and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend, Elizabeth Miskar and her beautiful son Greyson. To know Elizabeth is to love her, and there is not a single person who could not love baby Greyson even more.

Liz is currently in the state of Pennsylvania where she is physically closer to her family. She is working as often as possible while being Greyson’s sole caregiver and parent in every aspect. As some may be aware, she was in a three year long relationship with an extremely abusive man who verbally attacked, emotionally manipulated and physically abused her on multiple occasions. Although much has been documented with authorities, he is still able to try to hurt her in the only way he can now- by attempting to claim rights to being in Greyson’s life. She has had a restraining order against this man for six months, and unfortunately he continues to terrorize her. His latest method is to fight her for custody of Baby Grey, a child that doesn’t know him and who he has made clear he has no emotional connection to. He has already exposed him to domestic violence numerous times and created an extremely volatile environment. Elizabeth has spent every single day of Greyson’s life caring for him entirely alone. He is happy, safe, advanced and truly thriving and this monster of a man does not deserve to be graced with his presence.

The current situation is that after escaping her ex and trying to establish herself she has now depleted her savings. She has to have two lawyers- one for Connecticut and one for Pennsylvania, each requiring more money weekly with the constant filings needing to be done. As all babies do, Greyson has been sick multiple times and recently has had to have surgery. This caused her to have to take multiple days off resulting in her losing her job as a teacher which was funding their ongoing battle and day to day life. She's now working small jobs and anything that can help chip away at lawyer bills but she’s barely treading water. She needs help continuing to fight for the safety and well being of Greyson.

I am asking any who know Elizabeth, anyone who resonates with her story to please help. Liz is hardworking, loving to a fault, driven, and selfless. If anyone deserves a helping hand, it is these two beautiful beings. Anything is helpful. Thank you so much.
