Hello Everyone,

We are coming together in faith and love to support a devoted mother of four who is facing an incredibly difficult season.

Since last June, Liz has been hospitalized more than a dozen times, with many stays lasting anywhere from 5 to 15 days. She has already undergone eight surgeries with more still ahead. As I create this fundraiser today, she is currently waiting to be taken into surgery once again.

Her family is doing everything they can to help. Her 22-year-old son, who just began working, is now fighting to secure a part-time schedule so he can help care for his mom. Her oldest child wants desperately to help as well, but he is living with end-stage heart failure and severe medical issues of his own, and often depends on Liz too. Her 8-year-old, who adores his adopted mom, worries about her constantly.

Liz is now facing end stage renal failure and is on dialysis. She is also recovering from partial amputation of one foot and awaiting partial amputation of her remaining foot. She is unable to walk and relies heavily on family members to carry her throughout the house—to the bathroom, shower, kitchen downstairs—and in and out of vehicles for frequent medical appointments and wound dressing changes. Unfortunately, there are very limited in-home care services available in her area.

Despite everything, Liz continues to pour love into others. She still finds time to care for people, pray for them, encourage them, and lift them up. Her strength, courage, and unwavering trust in God have been nothing short of remarkable, even as her body and heart are continually tested.

Because of these serious medical challenges, the family is now facing months of unpaid time off while she recovers and receives ongoing treatment. This overwhelming hardship has caused financial setbacks and has added immense stress to an already devastating situation as she focuses on healing and caring for her family.

Scripture reminds us to “carry each other’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2), and this is one of those moments where community and compassion matter deeply.

Funds raised will help cover essential needs such as rent, utilities, groceries, transportation to medical appointments, and daily household expenses. Your generosity will help ensure Liz can focus on health and healing without the constant fear of losing the roof over their heads.
