Hi everyone! My name is Liudmyla Babak. I am a professional Ukrainian canoeist, 9-time World Champion, and 11-time European Champion in canoe marathon.

Due to the war in Ukraine, I have been living and training in Portugal for almost four years. Despite the distance and challenges, I train endlessly every day to represent my country with honor and raise the Ukrainian flag on the world stage.

The ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships will take place on October 21–25 in Argentina. This is the main event of my season. Unfortunately, due to a lack of official funding and the high cost of travel (flights, accommodation, equipment transport), I cannot cover this trip on my own.

I am asking for your help to make this journey possible. Any contribution or share brings me closer to competing and bringing another victory home.
