I am Yafa, born in March 2024, in the heart of war and destruction in Gaza. I have known nothing from life but the sounds of bombing, the colors of smoke and rubble. The only colorful thing I remember are my mother’s dreams of me living in peace.

My life started to change thanks to your kind hearts when you helped my family through this link to try to start over. I lost the simplest rights as a child in the war: milk, diapers, healthcare, and even shelter… but thanks to you, I got these things, and every support from you has been like a lifeline for me.

I am now writing to you from a small room that protects Yafa from the cold because you decided not to leave us alone. You have become our true family…
