We are the dedicated team behind Little Thetford Acorns, a beloved pre-school in the heart of our community. We’re reaching out to friends, families, neighbours and businesses near and far to ask for help in ensuring the restored growth of our cherished pre-school.

For nearly 50 years, Little Thetford Acorns has been the place where children in our community take their first steps toward a bright future. Our pre-school is a safe, nurturing and enriching environment where young children learn, play and grow together. Our dedicated staff are committed to fostering a love for learning, social interaction and creativity in these formative years.

We have some really exciting plans for our pre-school that focus on its incredible outdoor space and Forest School learning, as well as rejuvenating the indoor facilities. We are so excited for what the future can hold for Little Thetford Acorns. However, we need some help along the way!

Why We Need Your Help:

We are working really hard on building enrolment numbers back up to pre-pandemic levels and our numbers are increasing weekly. But, to bridge the gap between our current income and the actual costs of providing a superior early-years setting, we really need a boost!

Like many, we have faced unprecedented challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic, followed by the energy and cost-of-living crisis, has stretched our resources to the limit. Government funding is incredibly low, making it increasingly difficult to provide the high-quality education and care that our children deserve.

As a charity, we are determined to make the pre-school accessible to every child in our community regardless of their financial situation, and we rely heavily on donations, fundraising and volunteers.

It will not only help our pre-school survive, but thrive, ensuring that generations of children, families and staff can continue to benefit from the love and education that Little Thetford Acorns provides.
