Help little Pabu get better!

Donation protected

Pabu is a rambunctious carpet shark, blanket dweller, and loved furry noodle. He is a part of our family, and I call him my fourth child. He is the traveling ferret and has made beach trips, road trips, shopping trips, and enjoyed his short lived snow experience when we had a snowmageddon in South Texas! He has my 12yr olds heart and if anything happens to him we will be extremely devastated and heart broken.

Pabu started vomiting Thursday morning four times. Very lethargic. I immediately took him to the vet and they administered cerenia for upset stomach and nausea, and started him on antibiotics. We took him home. Later I noticed that he just still didn’t look right to me. Very wobbly, barely keep his eyes opened, and just limp. Not his usual noodle self. I took him back to leave him for monitoring and SQ fluids. After about 5hrs I was told I could come back for him and that he was ready to go. As soon as my son and I pulled up the vet wanted to speak with us. He said Pabu vomited this hard black foam stuff and no one could tell what it was. We did a an X-ray and shows that he does have something in his stomach that he may or may not pass on his own. Went to an emergency vet clinic last night that basically could not perform any procedures on him. After calling all over San Antonio this morning to find a clinic that could see him and perform if needed a endoscopy or gastrotomy if he needs it. Poor baby is severely dehydrated and she told me they are placing him on IV fluids to stabilize him. He is currently being hospitalized and we are awaiting bloodwork, X-ray reports from the radiologist and for him to show signs of improvement. I’m in desperate need of up lifting prayers and hope that he pulls through. Our noodle is our child and I will do whatever he needs! In case he does have to have this procedure done it can cost about $3,000. I did not get approved for care credit Bc I’m a student in nursing school. I’m asking for any type of donations to go towards his costly vet bill as this is the cost alone without the surgery.  Included is two different invoices for two different days. Today and tomorrow. Unfortunately I checked with the clinic because I’d prefer for everyone to just be able to call in a payment themselves but the animal clinic said that makes their accounting tricky and that I need to just make one lump sum payment. Thank you for taking the time to read this and even if you are unable to donate just keep him in your thoughts and prayers.  ❤️
